Living in a Global Knowledge Society in an ever shrinking world, educational leaders throughout the world are leading schools dealing with some of the following factors when working towards improved student achievement;
Educators around the world share similar issues. However the context identified by culture, ethnicity, geography and economics often creates the need for different and varied solutions to similar challenges. School leaders constantly search for ways to build positive school environments that will enable all students to achieve success based on their abilities and talents.
Enabling opportunities for school leaders to share ideas and problem solve in a collaborative virtual environment with colleagues around the world will support educators in finding new and better solutions to many challenges. Increasingly major corporations look beyond their corporate boundaries to seek out new and creative ideas to improve products and services, now educators can participate in the opportunity to connect and collaborate with colleagues around the world to improve success for the students they teach. We cannot alter the rate of change and the explosion of knowledge in the 21 century but we can harness both of these facts of life together with our global colleagues to find the best ways to educate our students.
